What is your regular hourly Rate?
$190.00 per bartender (first 4 hours). Additional hours are $30.00. We also take tips. The prices shown are effective for reservations made 7 days in advance. Prices are subject to change during holiday seasons.

Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance for my event?
Yes, we carry full liability insurance.

Where does TC Bartender Services Operate?
We serve the Twin Cities greater metropolitan area.

Are your bartenders certified or licensed?
All of our bartenders have had alcohol awareness classes and training. There is no license requirement, nor certification process for the State of Minnesota.

How many bartenders will I need?
Not as many as you think. We are experienced in large volume and premium service. Instead of two or three inexperienced “bodies behind the bar”, we are sending one experienced professional who knows the finer points of the craft.

Do you have Bartender Guys and Bartender Girls?
Yes, male and/or female Staff.

What drinks should I serve on my event?
We will help you create a customized drink menu for your event.

Does TC Bartender Services provide liquor?
No. We provide a bartender who knows how to serve the alcohol that you provide. We do however have relationships with distributors and may be able to assist you in obtaining discounted prices.

Do the bartenders have their own gear?
Yes, our bartenders will arrive fully equipped to tend the bar you provide.


Do you have any jobs available?
We recruit only the best and watch you work before we ask you to join our team.

Bartender Staff Information
Our bartenders and cocktail serving staff will be available to you and your guests for the duration of your event and billed at an hourly rate or negotiated flat fee. Please click on the Pricing tab on this website. Gratuity is not included, and is up to the client's discretion. All prices are subject to change without notice and are dependent on market fluctuations and personnel availability. Allow 30 minutes for set-up, and 15 minutes for clean up, which is included in the 4-hour minimum.

Our bartenders are good looking, professional and personable. You are hiring a bartender service that will exceed expectations. Our bartenders will chat and banter with the guests, or keep to themselves if you desire. We will follow your requests with a smile and keep the guests entertained. Our bartenders will show up on time, set up, and be prepared to serve.


Gratuity
Our bartenders are professionals. Gratuity is not included in the pricing and is up to the client’s discretion. It is bartender custom, and has been for hundreds of years, to accept gratuity. Some say: TIPS is an acronym for To Insure Prompt Service. Any bartender hired for an event will place a tip jar in the immediate vicinity. Bartending is what we do and most guests respect and enjoy the many nuances and traditions associated with premium bar services.


Administrative Service Charge and Taxes
The Administrative Service Charge and Taxes are included in the $190 bartender fee. Gratuities for staff are at your discretion. We don’t add on extra fees.


Payment Methods and Down Payment
We accept payment by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Cash or Check. We take a $100 down payment and credit that amount to the final balance due. That amount will be refunded to you if you cancel, up to seven days before the event. If you cancel within seven days of the event, we will keep the $100 down payment.


Returned Check Fee
A returned check penalty fee of $25 will be charged to a client's account for any dishonored check. This fee will be waived if the check was returned in error, providing supporting documentation is submitted. Cash, credit card or money order must pay the returned check and penalty fee.


Does TC Bartender Services provide the liquor?
No we do not. However, we have relationships with retail liquor stores. You will be able to purchase liquor and mixes at a reduced rate. You simply call the store and they will pull the items and have them ready immediately after you pay. We can easily consult with you and help decide what to buy and create a customized Spirits list. For your convenience, after you purchase the items, we can pick up and deliver the items on the date of your event. This Concierge Service is a flat $40. This service will save you time and money.


Glassware
As an added option and convenience, we can provide glass or plastic lowballs, highballs, and 16 oz. cups for any event.


Guest Count
We'll ask you to provide a guest count for your event, however, our bartenders are experienced enough to handle large volumes efficiently and professionally. Most services indicate one bartender for every 50-60 guests; our experienced, professional bartenders have developed the necessary skills to provide the quick and efficient service that your guests deserve.


How many bartenders will I need?
Our bartenders can handle 100+ guests per bartender. At many events, an individual guest will only have one or two drinks and the guests will arrive at staggered intervals. If there is an anticipated mass arrival with heavy drinking, we will consider adding more bartenders. We try not to overstaff any event.


What is our uniform or do you need us in costume?
Our standard uniform is black pants, black t-shirt, and black shoes- simple and to the point. If you want us to wear shorts and a Hawaiian shirt for a luau, we will. This is a negotiable item. Halloween parties bring interesting requests.


Are your bartenders and wait staff certified?
There are no state laws regulating server or bartending training. All of our bartenders have extensive resumes with no less then 3 years of bartending experience. All of our bartenders have completed liquor awareness training multiple times over.


Female or Male Staff
We will take requests, but can guarantee a preference only with advanced booking. We have females available, but they tend to be booked early and often.


What tools do the Bartenders bring?
Yes, our bartender's usually bring the following items:

  • 2 Shakers
  • 2 Pint Glasses
  • 1 Ice Scoop
  • 1 Wine Opener
  • 1 Bottle Opener- Flat Bar
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Paring Knife
  • 1 Garnish Tray
  • Optional Items (Additional Fee will apply, see Pricing)
